For the economic and social development, both men and women are equally important. To give timely focus on the issue Swadesh Mrittika is working on it. The activity under this program is like counseling and organizing workshop on the importance of legal right of men and women, day observance and various promotional activities. Initially the program was run by the organization itself. The prevalence of Reproductive risks including HIV, STD has been increasing day by day. To this end ICDS has been working to aware the mass community with the help of Women and Children Affairs Ministry. Women and Children Affairs Ministry also has been assisted to promote the gender development process within the context of overall development area.
